In the rustling of the weeds I look ahead, looking for a moment of life. The sea and sand share the horizon in the middle of a few clouds. There is no void and that is the language that pleases me with the sound of my footsteps in the water. I become a pilgrim for the duration of a tide to feel, look, discover 20,000 places on the seaside. My line takes on volume on paper grained like sand. The pen hugs a few shells and my drawing takes on a new destination…
